What is Economizer?
Economizers are the general name given to the systems used in preheating of fluids and reducing energy consumption and saving energy.
How does it work?
Economizers are basically heat recovery tools. The boiler feed water is heated with flue gases in the economizer system before it enters the main heating surfaces of the boiler. In this way, since the temperature difference between the water sent to the boiler and the heating water is reduced, the gasses in the water are easier to escape and the thermal efficiency of the boiler increases. This system, which is especially recommended when natural gas is used as fuel, is also an environmentally friendly product.
Why Use Economizer?
When the economizer is added to the system, the investment amount per unit heat energy produced decreases. Since the economizer lowers the flue gas temperature, the hot flue gas in the flue gas is cooled and discharged. In this way, the efficiency loss caused by the increase in the excess air coefficient is compensated to a significant extent. Thanks to these systems, economizer boilers turn into a useful investment that can pay for itself in the future with energy savings.
