Some fluids show different physical and chemical properties at different temperatures. For this reason, the temperature of fluid to be used should known when choosing the material required for the stainless water tank. The wall thickness of the tanks should also be determined according to the operating pressure and the volume of the tank.
The most important issue in the production of stainless boiler is that the welding process is perfect. The main faults in welds are capillary cracks and undercuts. Since the small hairline cracks that occur are not visible to the naked eye, all welds should be checked with x-rays. Possible capillary cracks in the boiler, which is put into use without this control, can cause great problems with the high pressure in the tank and the fatigue of the material over time. For this reason, it is very important to work with experienced and certified welders for stainless boiler welding. All welders within Ekin Industrial have a BV certificate.
