Accumulation Tanks

Accumulation tanks are the equipments that heat and store water with the energy received from heat sources.

Accumulation tanks are used for heat up the fluid by using water which is coming from heat exchanger, solar energy, heat pump, boiler etc. Especially in areas where the boilers are insufficient, effective solutions are produced by using the storage tanks together with the heat exchangers. Generally, heat exchangers and storage tank systems are used to benefit from solar energy in hotels and newly built collective living areas. Thanks to the accumulation tanks, temperature fluctuations that may occur in the domestic water are prevented.
The most important feature that distinguishes the accumulation tanks from the boilers is the absence of serpentine and the use of an external heating source. There are serpentines that act as water heaters in the boilers. Since there are no serpentines in the accumulation tanks, they are made more hygienic and corrosion resistant by enamel coating.

MIT Accumulation Tanks and MIT Boilers are one of the new steps taken by MIT, one of the most well-known and preferred brands in Turkey in Plate Heat Exchangers, for the continuous development of the sector. We offer the heat exchanger and all systems in which the heat exchanger is integrated as a package solution. With our accumulation tanks, all of which are produced in Turkey, we install long-lasting systems in many projects and provide hygienic drinking water.
