What is the Heat Exchanger?
Basically, heat exchanger is a product that provides heat transfer between two fluids.The distinguishing feature of the heat exchanger is that it carries out the heat transfer between these two fluids in liquid or gas form by preventing the mixing of the two fluids.Plates or other surfaces, which are used in heat exchangers,both seperate fluid from each other and provide the heat transfer between two fluids.This heat exchange can be heating, cooling or simultaneously bidirectional.
The usage area of the heat exchangers, which are structualty classified as plate, brazed and tube is quite wide. Air conditioning, petrochemical, power plants, food industry, paper industry are some of the numerous industries where heat exchangers are used. Heat exchangers, which are used in almost every industry where heating or cooling needed, are also encountered in many products in our daily life such as car radiators, combis, split air conditioners. Therefore, the heat exchanger is a technology that we use almost everyday and makes our lives easier, even if we do not hear it's name every day.
The first production in Turkey of heat exchangers, which is an indispensable part of our lives and countless industries, was carried out by Ekin Endustriyel.
