If the fluids used in the process have a thick consistency and a high tendency to adhere, they may accumulate at the pump inlet and carry over. This situation causes both product loss, hygiene problems and malfunctions when the fluid comes into contact with places it should not touch. In these cases, the solution is to supply the fluid to the Lobe Pumps with the help of feeding funnels. Feeding funnels prevent the fluid accumulated at the inlet from overflowing. There are 2 types of hoppers: square flanged and circular flanged.
