The sterilizer is a unit specially designed to reset the microbial load at high temperatures (>130°C), especially for milk and dairy products. Apart from the systems that can be made with plate heat exchangers, systems with tubular heat exchangers are also preferred due to their high working tempo and long life. Sterilizers also have an alternative process method with direct steam injection.
Adjusting the pressure and temperature controls between the product and service water flows requires careful and careful work, especially in these processes performed at temperatures above the boiling point.
