Lobe Pumps

Lobe pumps are valveless and positive displacement pump. Because of their positive displacement feature, these products, which are used without any problems in the transfer of low, medium and high viscosity fluids, are also called lobe pumps. This pumps must be hygienic if they are used in food applications. Hygienic qualifications of MIT Lobe Pumps are registered with FDA approval. MIT Lobe Pumps, produced in the 0-65 m³/h capacity range, are specially designed for the customer's process to meet the requirements of the application.

  • 4 different rotor options as followings; 2 lobe rotors, 3 lobe rotors, butterfly rotor and single butterfly rotor
  • Two lobe options for products containing solid particles(such as jam,molasses)
  • Seal options:Double(washed) cartridge mechanical seal, mechanical seal, carbide seal(for applications such as glucose,jam)
  • Side entry-Side exit or Top entry-Bottom exit options
  • Ability to rotate in both directions(clockwise or conterclockwise)
  • Gear box made of cast iron with protective coating with epoxy paint
  • AISI 316 stainless steel shaft, rotor and pump body
  • AISI 316 stainless steel fluid contact surfaces
  • Threaded, flanged and food-grade connection options.
